CHARACTERISTICS	An air-hardening tool steel giving a combination of wear resistance, toughness and stability in hardening. It may be vacuum-hardened.
HEAT TREATMENT	Annealing: ^oC 850-870 Stress Relieving: ^oC 625-650 Hardening: ^oC 950-980 Quench: Oil, air, salt at ^oC 500-550 Tempering: ^oC 100; 200; 300; 400; 500; 550. HRC: 63 62 60 59 60 58
APPLICATIONS	Tools for forming, blanking, piercing and blending; drawing dies, gauges, punches and dies. Also suitable for plastic mould tool inserts etc.
